Answers on AI onboarding workflows, I-9/E-Verify tracking, pricing, data security, and more for mid-market HR teams.
An AI onboarding agent is software that reads a role description and produces the onboarding plan for that new hire — a 30/60/90, a task checklist, a buddy suggestion, and an I-9 tracking checklist — instead of asking the HR admin to build it by hand. AI Employee Onboarding is an AI onboarding agent built specifically for mid-market HR teams (50–500 people). Every plan is a starting point; the HR admin reviews and signs off before it reaches a new hire.
For each new hire: a 30/60/90-day plan mapped to the role; a task checklist (equipment, training, docs, meet-your-team, safety); a buddy suggestion with human-readable reasoning; a role-appropriate I-9 tracking checklist; and a new-hire portal that renders the plan for the new hire. Every AI-generated block is labeled "AI-generated · Review before use."
No. Every AI-generated plan lands in the HR admin's review queue first. The HR admin edits, signs off, and only then does the plan reach the new hire's portal. That's a product choice, not a limitation.
A single URL — their stand-alone new-hire portal. It shows today's tasks, the 30/60/90 timeline, their buddy's name and preferred contact channel, and a place to upload documents. It is not a Slack channel, a shared HRIS login, or an email thread.
A template gives you the same 30/60/90 for every hire. The AI onboarding agent generates a different plan based on the role you paste in — a Senior Data Engineer's 30/60/90 doesn't look like a Sales AE's. Templates are static; the agent is generative.
Pricing is not finalized yet. Once we open from the waitlist we will offer flat per-company tiers (Free / Pro / Business), priced per company, not per employee. The Free tier will include a limited number of onboarding flows; paid tiers unlock more flows and advanced features. Join the waitlist to get early access and be notified when pricing goes live.
Yes. Monthly plans cancel at the end of the billing cycle. Annual plans run through the term you paid for. Data is retained for 30 days after cancellation so you can reactivate or export.
No. Pricing is flat per company. What is metered is onboarding flows per month (30 on Pro, unlimited on Business under fair-use). One flow = one new hire whose plan is generated.
We handle tracking, not verification. We generate an I-9 checklist template per new hire and track which documents your team has uploaded, which are pending, and which are overdue. We do not confirm document authenticity, determine work eligibility, or submit to DHS. AI Employee Onboarding is not a replacement for E-Verify. You must still complete Form I-9 and run E-Verify yourself.
No. Our tracking dashboard is an operational tool to help your team see what's uploaded and what's overdue. It is not a substitute for the physical or system-of-record I-9 form your organization is legally required to complete and retain. Employers remain responsible for I-9 completion, E-Verify submission, and all employment eligibility determinations.
No. AI Employee Onboarding is not a law firm and does not provide legal counsel. Compliance templates are starting points; you should have your own HR or employment counsel review anything before it's used in a real hire.
Business includes a GDPR onboarding checklist template and a Data Processing Addendum available on request. EU new-hire data is handled under our privacy policy including SCCs. We do not offer GDPR certification — we offer tracking and template support so your team can operate within its own program.
No. We do not use customer or employee data to train, fine-tune, or improve our AI models. Data submitted to the service is used only for real-time generation for that customer.
Only organizational and role context: the role description you paste in, the job title, department, and level, and any onboarding preferences your HR team has configured. Employee PII — names, emails, ID numbers, and the contents of compliance documents such as I-9 scans — is scoped out of LLM prompts.
On Cloudflare's infrastructure — D1 (SQLite) for structured data, R2 for uploaded documents. I-9 scans and other compliance documents are encrypted at rest. Tenants are isolated at the data layer.
No. Each customer's onboarding data, uploaded documents, and audit trail are isolated by tenant ID. Cross-tenant access is not exposed through any product path.
Short prompt logs are retained for 30 days for debugging and are deleted thereafter.
Workday, Rippling, and BambooHR are full HCM platforms — they store employees, run payroll, and treat onboarding as one static rule-engine module. AI Employee Onboarding sits on top of the HCM you already use and adds one thing well: an AI onboarding agent that writes the role-based 30/60/90, matches buddies, and gives every new hire a stand-alone portal.
Enboarder is a template-driven onboarding journey builder at roughly $29,000 a year. AI Employee Onboarding Business is $3,988 a year — about 1/6 the cost — and generates the plan itself with the AI onboarding agent instead of serving a static template journey.
Those tools live inside Slack or Teams. They do great work as chat surfaces but don't give the new hire a stand-alone portal — every question and task is scrolled back through a channel. Our design choice: give the new hire one durable URL, not a chat history to search.
Enboarder is a static template library at ~$29,000/year. BambooHR and Rippling store HRIS records but don't generate role-specific onboarding plans. We sit on top of your existing HRIS, generating a tailored 30/60/90, buddy match, and compliance checklist in about five minutes — at 1/6 the cost of Enboarder.
At launch: BambooHR and Rippling (read new-hire records, sync role and start date). Greenhouse is on the roadmap. Both Pro and Business include HRIS sync (Pro: one HRIS; Business: BambooHR + Rippling together).
Yes. Monthly plans cancel at the end of the current billing cycle — no cancellation fee. Annual plans run through the paid term. Data is retained for 30 days after cancellation so you can reactivate or export.
